SWK 621 Social Health and Public Work I
(3-0-3) This course introduces students to the intersection between public health and social work. Students will gain an understanding of the structure of public health systems, examine ethical issues and explore the social, economic, environmental, and political factors contributing to health and health disparities on a national, state, and local level. This is the first of two required courses within the Public Health concentration within the MSW program.
