SWK 604 Social Work Practice with Families and Groups
(3-0-3) This course will introduce students to generalist social work practice with groups and families. The course reviews the theoretical framework of group practice. Students will develop skills necessary to operate in a variety of group settings including but not limited to educational groups, task centered groups, and family systems. Ethical considerations and diversity within mezzo level systems are a point of focus in this course. Admission to the MSW Program is required.
