(0-3-3) This foundation graduate practicum course provides an intersection between the knowledge, skills, values and ethics learned in the classroom with actual social work practice among micro, mezzo, or macro arenas. Students are required to complete 300 hours in a social work practicum under the direction of an agency supervisor and a university practicum professor. The course is designed to allow students to process their agency experiences and demonstrate their understanding of the foundation-level competencies and practice behaviors with individuals, families, small groups, organizations, and communities.
