SWK 612 Theory and Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups

(3-0-3) This advanced course prepares students for social work practice by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully work with individuals, families, and groups in a clinical setting. This course will incorporate the application of theory to practice as students are exposed to evidence-based theories and treatment modalities of clinical social work. Students will be given the opportunity to practice these skills with a variety of client populations. Admission to the MSW Program is required.
