SWK 603 Foundational Micro Practice Skills
(3-0-3) This course provides the foundational skills necessary to work with individuals in the engagement, assessment, intervention, termination, and evaluation phases of social work practice. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate direct social work practice while understanding and addressing the diverse needs of clients. This course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the professional skills required for effective social work practice while focusing on the practical skills related to assessment and intervention. Admission to the MSW Program is required.
