SWK 608 Foundations of Social Welfare Policy and Analysis

(3-0-3) This course examines the historical context of social welfare policy, services, and the social work profession. Students learn to identify and examine the impact of policies on various populations, institutions, and human service organizations. Social policies are explored through a social justice framework in the context of social, political, and economic impact. Admission to the MSW Program is required.
