SE 899B Dissertation
(3 or 6 hrs.) Independent research and dissertation writing under the guidance of a dissertation committee, culminating in the presentation and defense of the dissertation. Focuses on applied research (R&D projects) that address complex problems in systems engineering. The candidate must register for six (6) credit hours of SE 899A in the Fall or Spring semester and, upon passing SE 899A, register for six (6) credit hours of SE 899B in the subsequent Fall/Spring semester. If the dissertation has not been successfully defended after the SE 899B semester, the candidate must register for three (3) credit hours of SE 899B each subsequent Fall/Spring semester until the dissertation has been successfully defended.
