Instructional Design and Online Learning

Morehead State University offers numerous online and distance education classes to students in the region through advanced technology. Students earn credit toward a degree by interacting with their peers and professors through asynchronous online (Blackboard) and synchronous distance (including ITV) course delivery types. Regional Campus System

Morehead State University maintains regional campus centers in Ashland, Mt. Sterling, and Prestonsburg. Courses are also offered at the University Center of the Mountains in Hazard, for the purpose of providing higher education access to place-bound and time-bound students who are geographically remote from the Morehead campus.
