SE 899 Dissertation
(1 to 9 hrs.) Independent research and dissertation writing under the guidance of a faculty advisor, culminating in the presentation and defense of the dissertation. Focuses on applied research (R&D projects) that address complex problems in systems engineering. A total of nine (9) credit hours is to be taken over three (3) semesters. If the dissertation is not successfully defended and accepted after three semesters or nine (9) hours, the candidate will register for one (1) credit hour each subsequent semester until completed.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of all core and specialization courses, and the Qualifying Examination
