EDGC 662 Individual Inventory Techniques, Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
(3-0-3) This course introduces the principles and models of biopsychosocial assessment, case conceptualization, and treatment planning for counseling professionals. Course content will include age and culturally appropriate diagnostic information as defined by the current edition of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders classification system. Students will be introduced to concepts related to etiology, cultural factors, differential diagnosis, and the use of psychopharmacological medications.
