PSY 663 Couples, Family, and Group Therapies
(3-0-3) This course is an introduction to the major theories and techniques of couples, family, and group psychotherapy. Included will be an survey of psychotherapies for couples, families, and groups, including Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy, CBT for Couples and Family, as well as an overview of group processes and tasks and the adaptation of evidence-based treatments to group formats. An emphasis is placed on application of this material to clinical vignettes and role play activities.
