MATH 152 College Algebra
(3-0-3) Field and order axioms; equations and inequalities; relations and functions; transformations and inverses of functions; polynomials, rational functions, exponentials, and logarithms; systems of linear and nonlinear equations. Students with an ACT MATH subscore of 21 or below will take the enhanced/corequisite version of this course (MATH 152E), which adds additional instructional support. The enhanced/corequisite course (MATH 152E) meets five hours per week. This course satisfies the Level 1 core-mathematics requirement for general education.

ACT Math score of 22 or higher, SAT Math score of 540 or higher, KYOTE College Algebra score of 14 or higher, Accuplacer Next Generation Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics score of 263 or higher, ALEKS score of 46 or higher, GED College Readiness Mathematics score of 175 or higher, EdReady Diagnostic of 65 or higher, or high school GPA of 3.25 or higher.
