Master of Arts in Education

Master of Arts in Education Objectives:

  1. MAE candidates will learn contextual factors, such as social, historical, philosophical and psychological factors, and apply those when making decisions that influence PreK-12 student learning.
  2. MAE candidates will learn professional dispositions and professional standards appropriate to their discipline and apply those to the PreK-12 classroom setting.
  3. MAE candidates will learn data literacy and research and apply those in the PreK-12 classroom environment.
  4. MAE candidates will learn assessment, literacy and research and apply those in the PreK-12 classroom environment.

By achieving these objectives, MAE candidates will serve the MSU Mission by educating students to serve our region and beyond.
