MATH 135 Mathematics for Technical Students
(3-0-3) Mathematics applied to technical programs. Modeling real world problems involving algebra, geometry and trigonometry; and quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions with applications to a variety of technical fields. Students with an ACT MATH subscore of 18 or below will take the corequisite version of this course (MATH 135E), which adds additional instructional support. The corequisite course (MATH 135E) meets five hours per week. This course satisfies the core-mathematics requirement for general education.
