NMT 401 Introduction to Nuclear Medicine

(2-0-2) An introductory course providing an overview of the field of nuclear medicine technology. Topics include professional roles, ethical responsibilities, and basic principles of nuclear medicine procedures and instrumentation. Radiation protection, regulations, and radiopharmacy concepts will also be covered. An introduction into research methods will be explored.
