ART 265 World Art History II: c. 1400-Present

(3-0-3) A survey of art beginning with the so-called "age of discovery" and continuing through the present day. The course addresses art produced in various sites across the globe and investigates how these sites, objects, and images functioned for their original viewing communities and also have shaped the contemporary world in which we live. Equates with IST 265.
