CIS 275 AI and Cybersecurity Skills for Business
(3-0-3) In an increasingly digital world, digital technology skills and literacy have become critical for personal and professional success. This course introduces students to the skills necessary to apply emerging digital technologies in professional roles. Specifically, this course covers: (1) how generative artificial intelligence (AI) can be ethically used to in work processes, (2) best cybersecurity practices to apply in daily technology use, and (3) digital tools available to enhance productivity and collaboration in organizations. Cybersecurity topics will include how to be on guard against attacker techniques (e.g., phishing, social engineering) and how to best maintain data protection and online privacy.
