AED 207 Introduction to Agricultural Education
(3-0-3) Students interested in a career in Agriculture Education will learn the history and objectives of agricultural education in relation to Career and Technical Education (CTE) and general education. This course explores agriculture education within secondary classrooms, cooperative extension programs, and corporate training roles within agriculture businesses. Students will examine the professional qualities and expectations of educators in each of these settings. The course also includes a minimum of 36 hours of classroom/industry observations for field experience.
