ACCT 320 Small Business Accounting
(3-0-3) Using accounting software, students will gain knowledge of how to record basic accounting transactions, adjusting entries, payroll and the accounting cycle that leads to the development of the four basic financial statements. Students will use course software to gain understanding of small business accounting systems and recordkeeping for basic accounting, payroll and tax transactions. Students will analyze the financial statements produced using financial statement analysis tools, including horizontal, vertical and ratio analysis.
