PHYS 483 Classical Mechanics

(4-0-4) A study of the motion of bodies and the forces that affect the objects. The Lagrange's and Hamilton's equation of motion of simple systems will be studied. Topics include kinematics and dynamics of particles and rigid bodies; work and energy; impulse and momentum; Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics.
