Repeating Courses

The repeat policy was implemented to establish guidelines and procedures for repeating courses. Undergraduate students may repeat a course no more than two times. The last grade earned is the official grade for the course, even if it is lower than the previous grade. Failure a third time will result in the student not being allowed to re-enroll for that course. Students may appeal to the Office of Undergraduate Education and Student Success by emailing c.schroeder@moreheadstate.edu

Once the degree has been conferred, the academic degree is locked. Courses are not eligible to be repeated and have a previous grade replaced once the degree has been conferred. To view the policy, visit UAR 107 at https://www.moreheadstate.edu/about-msu/leadership/policies/uar.
