Spanish Major – Bachelor of Arts

Program Competencies

Students will demonstrate:

Proficiency in the four skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
A firm command of Spanish grammatical structures.
Familiarity with significant aspects of the culture and civilization of the Hispanic world.
Familiarity with the most important works and trends of Spanish and Spanish American literature and, especially, an ability to analyze Hispanic literary passages.
