MUSH 261 Global Musical Experience

(3-0-3) A general education elective; does not apply toward fulfilling music degree requirements. Designed to introduce students to the humanities by exploring music in Western and non-Western cultures. This course will aid in developing and understanding of different musical styles and listening skills. In addition, this course will foster an interest in a variety of musical styles and in embracing different cultures in an endeavor to create a more tolerant society. This course satisfies the Level 2 Knowledge HUM requirement for general education.
