Distance Education and Instructional Design

Morehead State University offers numerous distance education classes to students in the region through advanced technology. Students earn credit toward a degree by interacting with their peers and professors through interactive compressed video (ITV) and Internet classes. Regional Campus System

Morehead State University maintains regional campus centers in Ashland, Mt. Sterling, and Prestonsburg. Courses are also offered at the University Center of the Mountains in Hazard, for the purpose of providing higher education access to place-bound and time-bound students who are geographically remote from the Morehead campus.
