Program Competencies
Students are expected to possess:
- A broad understanding of the events, circumstances and chronology of history, which will allow students to establish links between historical processes and contemporary global realities.
- The analytical ability and critical thinking skills to interpret historical events, ideas, arguments and points of view.
- The ability to access and use traditional and electronic databases for historical research.
- The ability to conduct independent original historical research using primary sources and to present scholarship in written and oral formats.
