MATH 440 Biostatistcal Methods

The purpose of this course is to extend students' knowledge in statistical concepts as applied to the health sciences, medicine and biology. Topics include confidence intervals and hypothesis testing; sample size and power considerations; analysis of variance and multiple comparisons; correlation and regression; multiple regression and statistical control of confounding; logistic regression; survival analysis; and fundamentals of clinical trials.
