IST 201 World History since 1500

This course will introduce students to the study of world cultures and provide an understanding of contemporary global issues. Using historical and literary texts, CD-ROM technology and films in a multimedia approach, students will examine selected social, political, economic and cultural phenomena in the context of world history.
