ESS 315 Sedimentation & Stratigraphy

Origins and characteristics of sediments, sedimentary structures, depositional environments, facies, systems tracts, sequences and sedimentary basins. Lab provides hands-on experience in sediment analysis and techniques used in reconstructing stratal geometries.
