CHEM 351 Bioinorganic Chemistry

Structure of inorganic compounds. Electron transfer reactions, acid-base theories, kinetic and reaction mechanisms, and relationship of thermodynamics to structure and reactivity of inorganic compounds. Concepts will be taught using biological systems or model compounds for these systems as examples.
