AGR 306 Principles of Epidemiology in Agriculture

This course will offer an overview of the science of epidemiology as it relates to agriculture. Students will develop an understanding of causation and casual theory, measurements of disease occurrences, biases in study designs, random error and the role statistics play in scientific study, how to control confounding, and how epidemiology is used in a clinical setting. This course will benefit any student seeking a career in a research or clinical field.
