Applying for Graduation
Undergraduate and graduate students can register for graduation, as well as pay the $20 graduation fee online via my.moreheadstate.edu. Registration for spring and summer terms must be completed by March 15 and registration for the fall term must be completed by Oct. 15, in order to avoid a late fee.
To register for graduation online:
- Log on to my.moreheadstate.edu
- Click on ‘Students’ in the left side menu
- Click on ‘Academic Profile’
- Click on ‘Application for Graduation’
- Choose appropriate academic program for which you are applying
- Fill out the graduation application form and click submit
- Complete payment information
Once the application has been submitted, an e-mail notification is sent to the Office of the Registrar. Students will also receive a confirmation e-mail.
Commencement is observed two times during the academic year. Ceremonies are held at the end of the fall and spring terms. For additional information regarding graduation and commencement, contact the Office of the Registrar at 606-783-2008 or graduation@moreheadstate.edu.
